Subway Kids Rock San Antonio
As part of the 2019 Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll San Antonio Marathon & 1/2 Marathon race weekend, San Antonio Sports has teamed up with Rock ‘n’ Roll San Antonio to present Subway KIDS ROCK San Antonio, a non-timed, non-competitive event for children in grades K – 7. Training curriculum and logs are distributed to more than 285 elementary schools two months prior to the marathon. Kids can become marathon finishers by completing a cumulative marathon training program that encourages kids to walk, jog or run the equivalent of a marathon over an 8-week period. Participating kids can also register to run the last mile of their training program at the KiDS ROCK fun run marathon weekend.

San Antonio Sports Corporate Cup Presented by OrthoNow
Click to visit the main Corporate Cup site.
Since San Antonio Sports held its first Corporate Cup in 2012, the event has grown in popularity and size. This premier health and wellness event is held at various event locations and combines friendly competition, team camaraderie, athletic skills and charitable giving to produce a Corporate Cup champion.
Companies compete in four divisions based on number of employees with events ranging from the challenging to the ridiculous. Whether racing in a track relay or pulling in the tug-of-war, employees will accumulate points for their teams. They can also earn points in the Charity Challenge, an opportunity to contribute goods and services to five local charities: South Texas Blood & Tissue Center, San Antonio Food Bank, Haven for Hope, Boys and Girls Club of San Antonio, United Health Blood and Donor Services and San Antonio Sports. The Corporate Cup trophy and year-long bragging rights will be awarded to the top team in each division.
Proceeds from entry fees support San Antonio Sports’ youth programs.
It Just Makes Good Business Sense.
Maybe new business will hook you. Seventy San Antonio-based companies participated last year so there are great opportunities to meet new business prospects and strengthen ties with current ones outside of the office. As past D4 Champion, Clear Channel Outdoor can attest, there’s nothing wrong with mixing business and pleasure.
“The Corporate Cup has been an incredible networking opportunity, bringing some of the city’s most prominent business leaders together in a friendly, competitive environment. My company even secured a brand new client as a result of relationships that began on the day of the event.”
— Ryan Frazier, Clear Channel Outdoor
Need Another Reason?
Besides bringing employees together in a fun, active and football-tailgating-kind-of-way (with bragging rights and a really awesome trophy), the San Antonio Sports Corporate Cup incorporates a Charity Challenge into the competition each year. San Antonio Sports is proud to partner with Haven for Hope, the San Antonio Food Bank, Boys and Girls Club of San Antonio, UHS Blood Donor Services, and the South Texas Blood and Tissue Center. Together, we can all have fun and do good for our community.
And…
Proceeds from the Corporate Cup will provide sports and fitness programs for the youth of our community, especially those who are underserved. The glory is tempting and beating a rival company on the competition field tastes oh so good, but if you need the best reason, do it for the kids!
Volunteers Needed!
It may be too late to sign up your team for this year’s event, but that doesn’t mean you or your organization can’t be part of the fun! Volunteers will help with scorekeeping, game monitoring, and tear down. Parking and lunch are provided. Learn more.
