L’Étape by Tour de France Brings the Biggest Cycling Event in the World to Lone Star State
L’Étape by Tour de France has announced Tour de France Champion Jens Voigt as the official Ambassador for L’Étape San Antonio by Tour de France. This mass participation cycling event takes place Sunday, April 16, 2023, the final day of San Antonio Sports Fiesta FitFest, and will offer both seasoned and novice cyclists the legendary Tour de France experience. Voigt’s visit is made possible by XPEL.
L’Étape San Antonio by Tour de France presented by H-E-B features:
- Jens Voigt, a 14-time Tour de France finisher; 2-time holder of the Yellow Jersey; hour record-holder in 2014
- Champions Dinner the evening before, giving riders the chance to ask Jens Voigt questions at a Q&A and take pictures with him
- Race day competitions to win the authentic Yellow, Green, and Polka-Dot Tour de France jerseys
- Classe Spéciale VIP tickets for incredible perks throughout the weekend
- Routes designed by Tour de France experts
- Courses for all experience levels and ages
Fiesta FitFest presented by H-E-B takes place April 14-16 at UTSA. In addition to L’Étape San Antonio by Tour de France, the weekend includes the SATX 5K & 10K presented by Michelob Ultra, along with the L’Étape San Antonio kids’ ride, live music, group exercise classes, health and wellness activities. L’Étape San Antonio by Tour de France presented by H-E-B will begin at UTSA and offers distances of 100, 60, 25 miles and a family tour.
