What high school team will win the Alpha Warrior Team Tough Challenge? We’ll know by Sept. 30. This free progressive fitness challenge is underway. The goal of the challenge is to encourage teamwork and provide a creative way for high school students to connect while in-person activities are delayed.
The past two years, this event was held at the Alpha Warrior Proving Grounds but this year we’re holding it virtually. The competition involves teams of six competing against other school teams by completing and exceeding physical fitness goals. Each team has a military team captain from the U.S. Army to help motivate them.
The top team will win a $1,000 grant for their athletic department or booster club (second is $500, third is $250) and bragging rights. All students who complete the challenge will earn an Alpha Warrior medal and t-shirt.
The Alpha Warrior Team Tough Challenge is just one more way we’re fulfilling our mission is to transform our community through the power of sport by connecting students, motivating them to be fit as they begin to engage in school activities.
