Join the effort to bring
the Laver Cup to San Antonio!

The Laver Cup is one of the most popular events in tennis, and a jewel on the ATP Tour calendar. The competition was born out of Roger Federer's simple heartfelt goal: to create an event to honor Australian tennis legend, Rod Laver.

The format is inspired by golf's Ryder Cup. Six of the best men's players from Europe take on six of their best counterparts from the rest of the world over three days of intense team competition. Players are a '"who's who" of men's tennis, with Grand Slam champions competing with and against the next generation of rising stars – in both singles and doubles matches ‐ forming on‐court pairings never seen before, cheering each other on from the sidelines.

Tennis giants John McEnroe and Bjorn Borg have resumed their "fire and ice" rivalry by serving as captains for the two teams. Passionate sold‐out international crowds and innovative presentation deliver a premium experience unlike any other.

San Antonio Sports submitted a bid to host in either 2023 or 2025 and has made it to the final round, which will be awarded in early 2022. We want to show the Laver Cup that San Antonio and Texas has what it takes to host this prestigious event! Show your support of San Antonio's bid to host the Laver Cup by signing up below. We will provide the most up-to-date information about our bid efforts and ticket opportunities if San Antonio is awarded the event.
