Dreams for Youth Diving Program

Diving made its Olympic debut 100 years ago. Diving has traditionally been available to those in high income areas (country clubs, affluent schools, colleges, etc.) Dreams for Youth targets inner-city youth to try springboard diving at an affordable cost to the athlete.

Dreams for Youth offers diving classes to children ages 6 to 18.  All divers will register with the Amateur Athletic Union (a national governing body for diving).  Learn to Dive classes will be taught on the trampoline, one-meter board and gymnastics mats. Divers need to come prepared with a swimsuit, towel, t-shirt, gym shorts, white socks, sunscreen, and bottle of water.
